Raijin – Premium Japanese Motorcycle Gear
1. Overview
Raijin operates from Tokyo, Japan and ships premium Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) motorcycle gear internationally. By placing an order on www.raijin.store, you agree to the terms outlined in this Shipping Policy.
2. Order Processing Time
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days after payment confirmation. Processing does not occur on weekends or Japanese public holidays.
Certain limited or high-demand items may require additional sourcing time. If extended handling is required, customers will be notified by email.
Processing time is separate from shipping time.
3. Shipping Carrier & Service
All orders are shipped exclusively via FedEx International Priority (or an equivalent FedEx express service), selected at our discretion.
FedEx services typically include tracking, delivery scans, and delivery attempt documentation. Service availability may vary depending on destination or local restrictions.
4. Estimated Delivery Time
Estimated delivery times (after shipment) are generally:
- United States: 3–7 business days
- Canada: 3–7 business days
- Other regions: 4–10 business days
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Raijin is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, weather, government actions, carrier operational issues, or incorrect customer-provided information.
5. Tracking & Shipment Confirmation
Once your order ships, you will receive tracking details by email. It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor tracking and coordinate delivery with FedEx when needed.
6. Signature & Delivery Confirmation
Shipments may require a signature upon delivery depending on destination, order value, and risk assessment.
Once FedEx marks a package as "Delivered" (including signature confirmation where applicable), the shipment is considered successfully fulfilled.
Raijin is not responsible for packages that are:
- Signed for by a third party at the delivery address
- Delivered to shared residences, concierge desks, mailrooms, or building reception areas
- Left in a location deemed acceptable by the carrier under local delivery practices
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and secure receipt at the provided address.
7. Address Accuracy & Undeliverable Packages
Customers are fully responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. Address changes after purchase are not guaranteed and may not be possible once processing begins.
If a package is returned or marked undeliverable due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Failure to respond to carrier contact attempts
- Failure to pick up the shipment from a local facility
- Refusal of delivery
The customer will be responsible for return shipping, reshipping fees, and any associated costs. Refunds may be reduced accordingly and original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable.
8. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
Raijin ships internationally from Japan. Customers are solely responsible for all import-related costs, including:
- Import duties
- Customs brokerage fees
- State, provincial, or local taxes
- Any government-imposed charges
Raijin does not reimburse duties, taxes, or brokerage fees under any circumstance. Customs clearance delays are outside of our control.
If a shipment is returned due to unpaid customs fees or refusal to clear customs, the customer will be responsible for all return shipping and related charges.
9. Risk of Loss
Once an order is handed over to FedEx and a tracking number is issued, the shipment is considered in transit. Risk of loss transfers to the customer to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
In the rare case of a confirmed carrier loss, Raijin will assist in initiating a FedEx claim process. Claim approval and timelines are determined by the carrier.
10. Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages
If tracking shows "Delivered", the package is considered delivered. If you believe a package is missing after delivery confirmation, you must:
- Check with household members, neighbors, concierge/mailroom, and building management
- Contact FedEx directly to request delivery details
- Notify Raijin within 48 hours of the marked delivery time
Raijin may provide supporting documents to assist with carrier inquiries, but we do not guarantee replacement or refund for packages marked delivered by the carrier.
11. Shipping Insurance
Shipments may be insured based on declared value and carrier terms. Insurance coverage, if applicable, is subject to carrier investigation and approval.
12. Refused Shipments
If a shipment is refused by the customer for any reason (including customs fees), the following may apply:
- Original outbound shipping costs (even if offered as Free Shipping) are non-refundable
- Return shipping, customs charges, and handling fees may be deducted from any approved refund
- A restocking fee may apply as described in our Returns & Refund Policy
13. Free Shipping
Free Shipping (when offered) covers outbound shipping costs only. It does not cover duties, taxes, brokerage fees, return shipping, refused shipments, or reshipping costs.
14. Delivery Disputes & Fraud Prevention
Raijin actively protects against fraudulent delivery disputes. In the event of a claim or dispute, we may provide relevant documentation, including:
- FedEx tracking and delivery confirmation
- Signature verification (when available)
- Delivery attempt documentation
- Order transaction data and customer communication records
False claims may result in permanent service restriction.
15. Policy Updates
Raijin reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. The policy version in effect at the time of purchase applies to that order.
